The 8th grade Lady Tigers earned a first-round victory in the Washington Tournament tonight, defeating New Haven 24-19! It is a great night for Tiger Basketball! 🏀
This week, the 7th grade Lady Tigers begin their season in the Hermann Tournament, hosted by St. Clair. They earned their first victory of the season against New Haven 56-0 tonight!
The middle school staff had an early morning staff meeting to ensure our social contract was written and in place to help us self-manage our work together. Students are not the only ones who have to focus on their actions during meeting times! We are thankful for the CKH process.
We had a TON of Positive Office Referrals to hand out Friday. Keep doing great things, kids!

Positive Referral Friday! We had a TON of students receive positive referrals this week. The leadership of these students makes our school a place where GR-R-R-REAT things happen!

St. James Middle School will be attending the high school homecoming parade this Friday, September 13th. Buses will leave from the middle school at approximately 12:00 p.m. and return to school at approximately 12:45 p.m.
If you would like for your student to not attend the homecoming parade, please call the school by 10 a.m. on Friday, September 13th at 573-265-2300 ext. 20601 to opt out.
Students in Mr. Boggs' class were introduced to several big ideas they'll study this year and worked collaboratively to figure them out on their own before those units begin. After completing each topic, they discussed a fun social/emotional learning question in small groups.
