St. James R-1 High School students recently attended the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) Conference, where they gained valuable skills in leadership, philanthropy, and community impact. These students returned with fresh insights that will be put into action at Firehouse Coffee, a coffee shop managed by the YEP chapter.
Proceeds from Firehouse Coffee are donated to local nonprofits, making each cup you enjoy a part of the students’ commitment to giving back. Stop by next time you're in town and support these young leaders making a difference in our Tiger Community!

Our high school DECA students put their skills to the test at Districts at MS&T in Rolla—and they delivered. Competing in events like Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality & Tourism, and Hotel & Lodging Management, seven Tigers secured their spot at the State competition in Kansas City this March!
