Our first-grade students took a scenic Fall walk through our town to visit the St. James Caring Center. They had an eye-opening experience learning about the benevolent services this amazing center provides to our community.

🌟 Tiger Highlight: Celebrating Self-Directed Learners at LWJE! 🌟
This October, LWJE honored our "Self-Directed Learners." Our students are taking charge of their learning and personal growth, showing determination and responsibility. The October Word of the Month was SELF-DIRECT!
Throughout the month, students across all grade levels will participate in engaging classroom challenges that encourage them to embody the “Word of the Month” in their daily lives. At the end of the month, each classroom teacher will select a student who has truly embraced the spirit of the word. These students will be recognized as their "Students of the Month!”

Learning Highlight: From Stage to Open Air!
Recently, the Stagecraft Talent class made the most of a beautiful fall day. They embraced the great outdoors to turn “all the world into a stage.” The auditorium was booked for a choir concert and the Greenroom was bustling with sets in progress, so students headed outside.
They not only got a breath of fresh air, but they also honed their skills in “filling the space” with their movements and “projection” while competing with the laughter from the neighboring elementary playground and the sounds of passing vehicles.
Don't forget to mark your calendars! The Neverending Story, a production from STJ Tiger Drama, will be taking the stage at 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 16th, and Friday, November 17th, with a matinee at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 19th.
