Lifelong Learning: Professional Development Day at St. James R-1!
Today is dedicated to seamlessly combining learning with a touch of fun! The district kicked off the day with a scavenger hunt that sparked creativity and teamwork. Safety also remained a top priority as our educators engaged in training and simulation drills, reinforcing our commitment to creating a safe learning environment. This October, LWJE honored our "Self-Directed Learners." Our students are taking charge of their learning and personal growth, showing determination and responsibility. The October Word of the Month was SELF-DIRECT!
Throughout the month, students across all grade levels will participate in engaging classroom challenges that encourage them to embody the “Word of the Month” in their daily lives. At the end of the month, each classroom teacher will select a student who has truly embraced the spirit of the word. These students will be recognized as their "Students of the Month!”
