FFA grasslands team heads to state!

St. James R-1 School District is proud to announce the remarkable success of our Grassland Evaluation team, a true testament to the dedication and talent of our students.

In a recent competition at the South Central district, our Tigers soared to a remarkable 2nd place, securing their ticket to the State Championships in Hallsville tomorrow. The pursuit of the state title is now within their grasp.

The individual achievements of our team members are equally impressive:

  • Lexi Mullins achieved an outstanding 3rd place.
  • Carleigh Dixon secured a well-deserved 4th place.
  • M'Lynn Steen exhibited exceptional skills, finishing in the 16th place.
  • JV Meurer's hard work paid off, earning a commendable 36th place.
