The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE) latest initiative, the Close the Gap Grant program, is still accepting applications. This program offers a one-time grant opportunity for parents, designed to cover allowable education expenses for their K-12 public school district and charter school student(s). In partnership with Odyssey, DESE will be overseeing the administration of this program.

- Application Period: September 20 - October 25, 2023.
- Eligibility Review: Once applications are submitted, they will undergo a review to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Funds Disbursement: Approved grant funds will be made available in a parent's Odyssey account.
- Use of Funds: The allocated amount can be utilized for allowable educational services and products within the Odyssey Marketplace.
