Prop TIGERS aims to support St. James R-1 School District's mission by supporting our dedicated staff and providing a safe learning environment for our students. In 2020, the district developed a Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) that involved community members, District staff, students, and parents. The levy increase was a focus of that meeting and subsequently built into the CSIP Plan to support our mission. If passed, Prop TIGERS will provide funds to give all teachers and support staff a raise, reinforcing the importance of elevating student success by ensuring adequate compensation for educators.
