It’s TIGERS Tuesday!
In the St. James R-1 School District, there is a resolute commitment to investing in our dedicated teachers and support staff. To accomplish this goal, Prop TIGERS, a $0.65 levy increase, will be on the ballot on August 8, 2023.
Prop TIGERS will generate approximately $928,915.00 in additional funds dedicated to continuing student success. Out of that number, 77% will be channeled towards staff pay increases, recognizing the crucial role they play in shaping students' lives and creating a motivated teaching environment. The remaining 23% will be allocated to maintain the current school buildings, ensuring safe and conducive learning spaces. We are fully dedicated to #academicexcellence and the overall growth of our students.
