Exciting news from the St. James R-1 School District!
We are thrilled to announce that the first phase of our School Safety Grant project has been successfully completed. Advanced security film has been installed in our buildings, taking a significant step towards enhancing safety measures.
The newly installed security film is designed to do two important things: increases the amount of time emergency service personnel will have to respond and provide protection against intruders and severe weather. Our goal is to fortify our buildings and ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Working closely with our safety team, which includes local emergency service personnel, we have identified key priorities and utilized the Safety Grant effectively to address them. By integrating security film, we are taking a proactive approach to creating a secure environment that promotes learning and productivity.
Thanks to the Safety Grant we obtained earlier this year, we have been able to implement crucial safety upgrades, and there are more phases to come. Our focus is on enhancing emergency response capabilities and maintaining security infrastructure across all our facilities.
We want to express our gratitude to everyone involved in making this accomplishment possible. Their dedication and commitment to the safety of our students and staff have laid the foundation for an even more secure educational environment.
