MoASBO Honors Susan Douglas

The Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO) announced Susan Douglas as one of its graduates of the School Business Specialist Certification Program (SBS). The SBS program is a two-year intensive course designed to prepare and grow current school district employees for the business office. During this program, Douglas participated in training specific to Missouri in the following categories: law and regulations, business operations, best practices, ethics, and advancement of professionalism.Douglas, who is the Bookkeeper for St James R-I School District, successfully completed all program requirements and received her certificate at a MoASBO celebration ceremony on June 4 at Osage Beach. MoASBO Executive Director, Kim Cranston, commented, “This program is one-of-a-kind for Missouri business offices. I am so proud of our new school business specialists!
